Should You Expect Loyalty If You're MARRIED TO A ROCK STAR?

Pac has been in the news lately, of course it's about the fight, not the one with Miguel Cotto (that was barely a fight, more like a tutorial on how to tenderize Puerto Rican meat). The more interesting fight is between Manny Pacquaio and his wife Jinkee Pacquiao over Manny's alleged romance with actress Krista Ranillo.  Krista and her family were in Las Vegas to "support" Manny.  According to Pep.ph, "sa Luxor Hotel nag-check-in ang pamilya Ranillo. Doon din daw sa naturang hotel naka-check-in si Manny at ang kanyang entourage."

Let's be realistic in our answers to this following question: "Should you expect LOYALTY if you're married to a rock star?"  Isn't it to be assumed that there is no way a guy can remain faithful if his life is drastically changed for the better?

Your thoughts?

The premise should be stressed on the word "married" and not "rock star".

Yes. Just because they're rockstars (or celebrities, whatever) doesn't mean they should be held to different moral standards than everybody else.

never expect them to be loyal , its human nature people will always have the hunger for flesh, for the ordinary guys its a challenge to get the flesh that attracts you.. but for a rockstar or for a celebrety its like having a free buffet meal at sofitel... :).....

it's like the movie "rockstar" by pac-man's friend mark walhberg with jennifer aniston. mark got a lot of groupies after becoming famous. then broke up, but got back again in the end.

ROCKSTAR = CELEBRITIES = a lot of $$$

And in Manny's case it's literally US DOLLARS (millions of it), so what do you expect?! But if I were Jinkee, hell! I will get half of everything he has so who cares?! I even get the kids. Plus, at the end of the day, once all the glory fades and all Manny's money got used up for his so-called political ambitions, his a$$ will surely go back to his wife..

I expect LOYALTY in a committed relationship - marriage, BF-GF, partners, etc. As long as you made a commitment you better honor it. Rock star or just a regular person, loyalty is EXPECTED and should be strived for.

Lots of money = Lots of power = Fame = GIRLS

Never expect because i think they both have different lifestyle now and i believe they have their secrets. Its just that the":Rockstar" is always on the news because it will be bought by public.

Please be realistic guys,Temptation is always there when you're famous.

Hey Mo why is the date is still Nov.16?

November 17, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterJeffree

it's a guy thing. when they find out they can get a certain chick..any chick.. that they THOUGHT they couldn't have - they'll jump at the chance rockstar or not!
LOYALTY is something that WOMEN have control of. No matter how much a man wants a women, who's not his, if the woman doesn't give in to it - the man can't really do anything!

<a href="HELL YAH YOU SHOULD! ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE A ROCKSTAR" title="HELL YAH YOU SHOULD! ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE A ROCKSTAR". How many young boys who look up to someone as famous as Pacman are gonna start thinking...it's okay to have one on the side when you're married. Moreover, you can tell a lot about a person on how he chooses to handle fame, money, and stress.

HELL YAH YOU SHOULD! ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE A ROCKSTAR. With great fame comes great responsibility...("power" if we're talking about Spiderman...but hey...that's almost the same.)

Very interesting question and I have to say, maybe not. Having a rockstar status will get one into a situation, one way or another, wherein he'll be involved with someone else either because he wants it or just because he can't get away from it.

When one gets into the rockstar level, just like the Pacman in this case, it means that he gets a great following that a number of these fans may actually give in to whatever he wants - like a one night stand.

On the other hand, even if he opts to stay stay as loyal as he can be, the number of events - i.e., parties, meetings, etc - he attends to puts him in danger of being seduced (most likely under while under the influence of alcohol) by anyone with intentions of blackmailing/framing him, exploiting the chance to be just a famous by being in the news, or again, just having the chance of a mere one night stand.

By the way, welcome to the blogging world.

That must be one of many benefits of being a "rock star" -- having girls, it is what fame gives you in return. But it is not enough reason to justify that any man can not be loyal to their partners.

I don't think you can ever expect monogamy in the strictest sense no matter who or where you are. I mean, the reason why we have rules or commitments is to "control" our animalistic nature. That includes "going forth and multiply" (which primarily means bone your head off). And so, we can only "control" polygamy- we can never "stop" it.

So the number one rule here really is "never get caught" or else heads are gonna be chopped off and fed to a million piranhas. That's where responsibility kicks in- for you to "not get caught" since (or if) there's nothing in you to catch with. (Do I make sense?)

So guys, don't get caught. Women, don't bother too much. As all as he goes home to you as your man, you're the best one he'll ever have. (If not, give him a kick that he'll never forget") :)
