Great News From McDonald's!

I want to take a portion of my blog here to thank McDonald's for making my life easier.  If you listen to my show, you know how much I love McDonald's (I've used them for eating contests and I always say how much I enjoy their burgers, fries, hot fudge sundae, etc).  And now McDo has made me fall in love with them all over again. How? I just found out today that they are no longer requiring a minimum P150 purchase for delivery.  No minimum at all! It's important for me because as many of you know, I stay awake all night and I definitely need my McDonald's in the early hours of the morning while I'm writing this blog and the morning show.  Since I live alone, the fact that no minimum purchase is needed, I now know I can order exactly what I want.  I grew up on McDonald's and they never seem to fail me.  Thanks guys.

yes, 10% delivery charge is now scrapped replacing with standard 40php charge for all orders.

yah i think you'll just pay p40 for delivery charges..

good job fof macdonald's. i grew up knowing mcdo too. :) really a good news.

For me the P40 is really NOT bad. Dati you have to SPEND a lot more than P40 to reach that P150 minimum charge. So kahit large fries lang craving ko, I could make pa-deliver!!!! WOOOT!!!!! : )

Bad for your health.. tsk tsk

Yeah this is only really worth it if you're buying something less than P150, but more than a single item. Only want a sundae? You're going to pay around P60 for it.

Kapag ganun, itulog mo nalang, sa susunod na araw ka nalang mag-McDo.

Good Job!

Another reason for me to have more deliveries made at the office.

At dahil diyan, isang 10 piece McNuggets with Quarter Pounder, no pickles and onions, no drinks - up size fries and Oreo caramel sundae. Nakakaloka! Bakit ang masarap over over sa calories? Bukas na ulit ang diet! Hahaha...

I got an email survey from them and one of the questions was what I think about the minimum purchase of Php 150. I usually order through McDelivery online that's why they had my email. I answered I don't like it. I guess most who answered didn't want to keep the minimum purchase of Php 150.

This is really good news 'coz I love McDo. I don't like having food delivered from Jollibee 'coz most of the time, panget na quality ng food pagdating sa'yo. Unlike pag McDo.

i also answered that survey and answer to voted to not liking it either because as i understand it, it would have a fix amount for delivery charge, though im sure bout this.
i usuall buy at Mcdo and loves their product but usually not in bulk orders so the fixed delivery charge will only appeal to those buying in bulk, though i dont know how much.

if anyone knows pls give feedback .tnx

Wait... I forgot to mention. Yeah, the option was there'll be a fixed delivery price, but they didn't mention how much. So, if it's about Php 40 and you only wanted medium fries that's worth Php 45 = you'll have to pay Php 85 'coz of the fixed delivery charge - that's too much.

I added at the end of the survey that I hope the fixed delivery charge won't be too expensive that people would be discouraged to have McDo delivered. I still prefer the 10% delivery charge over the fixed rate.

I'll try calling them nga... padeliver tuloy kami. Hihihi.

do you thinks its great?

i dont think so.

it's great for mcdonald'sbut not to us. most of us anyway reach the minimum purchase of 150ph, and with the old system we will just pay 10% of it or 15php, with a total of 165php. with the current system, we will pay 190php instead of 165php. to make the 40php delivery charge worth it, you must order no less that 400php worth of food items.

May delivery charge pala? Parang hindi applicable dito sa iloilo kasi wla namang delivery charge as long as nasa 150php yung purchase

their online delivery (mcdelivery.com.ph) is also cool !!

I think they should' have made it that if your total amount of order is higher than the minimum price, you would only be paying P40 for the delivery charges, but if not, you'd get to pay 10% of what you've ordered. Wont you agree?
